How we choose our picks

Useful finds. Clear reasons. Honest limits.

Start with a need.

We build collections around a person, occasion, budget, or practical problem. We look for a specific reason an item belongs, rather than treating every popular product as an essential purchase.

Explain the fit and the tradeoffs.

Product pages should explain the features that matter, who the item suits, what to check, and when another option may be a better choice. A short list should make a decision easier, not hide important limitations.

What the labels mean.

A yohhi Pick badge expresses our editorial recommendation for the stated use; it is not an Amazon rating, customer-review score, certification, or guarantee. A watchlist or candidate label means the item is still being considered or its current offer needs checking.

Our current shopping region.

yohhi is based in the United States and focuses on North American shoppers. Our current shopping links use Amazon.com (U.S.), and dollar amounts refer to U.S. dollars. We do not currently provide localized offers for Amazon.ca, Amazon.com.mx, or other Amazon stores. Products, sellers, prices, Prime benefits, delivery, and return terms can differ by country and address. Currency conversion, shipping, taxes, or import charges may add to your total. Check the exact offer for your location on Amazon before ordering.

Check the exact offer.

Before a shopping collection is finalized, our selection rule is to check the exact variant, seller, condition, availability, under-budget qualification, and Prime eligibility. Prime can vary by offer, location, account, and time. We do not promise delivery dates.

A Black Friday watchlist is not a list of confirmed Black Friday discounts. We should only call an offer a deal when the promotion is verified, and only make historical-price claims when we have reliable supporting evidence.

Keep commercial relationships visible.

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Paid shopping links are disclosed. Any sponsored placement, free review sample, or other material relationship must be identified where it affects a recommendation.

Correct what needs correcting.

If you find an inaccurate specification, outdated link, missing caveat, or unclear disclosure, contact us with the page address. We review substantive corrections and may revise or remove a recommendation.

Separate research from experience.

Unless a page explicitly states that we tested an item, our assessment is research-based. We use published product information and editorial judgment. We do not invent personal experience, customer reviews, star ratings, or test results.

Illustrative lifestyle imagery is not evidence of product performance or hands-on use. Product-specific claims still need factual review.
